What does early access mean?

By Justin Hornsby - 1min. reading time

Early access means you can play the game and give feedback to help shape the game. The game is in an unfinished state, and you can’t get the full experience yet. The game is still in development, and you might experience problems such as bugs and performance issues. Purchasing the game during early access will help the development process, as the developers will be able to dedicate more time to development.

So, do or don’t?

You have the chance to play a game that is still in development. That means you get regular updates that give you access to new levels, features, weapons, characters, storylines. You can also join the community to provide feedback to the developers so you can help shape the game. Most game developers value community feedback. That's why we like to participate in early access releases.

Are there any drawbacks?

The games can be a bit glitchy and in some cases the developers will run out of money before the game is fully released. Always check who the developers are.

Which early access is worth it?

The early access release we are most excited about is GAZZLERS VR. You can wishlist it on Steam!
